Join me for a two days ONLINE workshop where you will learn how to coil a Woman Vessel. I will share valuable insights from my personal journey with clay, along with wisdom passed down to me by my generous teachers and mentors. Each purchase comes with a link to the live (and/or recorded) sessions, a PDF download of Diagrams & References. It will benefit those with no experience as well as advanced students. We will cover the fundamentals of coiling and under my guidance you will create your own iteration of the Woman Vessel. You will learn how to create asymmetrical curves / change directions as you build up a coil pot and form a narrow neck. Those with experience may proceed to more advanced iterations that involve horizontal coiling and belly-ing out. With hope, to expand the range of forms that you are able to create with clay. This online workshop is hosted in English via Zoom. Both sessions will take place on January 13 & 14 at 17:00 London time. If you're unable to attend live, you can opt for the "recording only" option, which gives you instant access to the recordings from the live sessions held on November 6 & 7. Select the option that suits you best: Recording Only - offers instant access to past sessions for immediate learning at your own pace. Live Sessions - join us on January 13 & 14 for real-time experience, hands-on guidance, and the opportunity to participate in live Q&A. You will need: - 5 kg of clay with high grog - a knife - a needle - a metal kidney - a surrated kidney - a surform - a banding wheel (or two bowls instead) - a hairdryer/heat-gun Please email info@karinasmagulova.com to request images for any of the tools mentioned, or for any other questions.
