Join me for a two-day ONLINE workshop where we will build Woman 3. During these sessions, I will guide you through each step of transforming this specific form from paper to life. We will focus on refining your coiling technique with a particular emphasis on the logic and execution of horizontal coiling, allowing you to create more expansive, architectural silhouettes with precision and control. What you will achieve: Horizontal Coiling: Learn the structural techniques required to move the clay outward horizontally while maintaining stability. Precision Translation: Use a provided PDF diagram to translate scaled dimensions into a physical vessel with accuracy. Intentional Form: Master the ability to bring a predetermined shape into the three-dimensional world as precisely as possible. Choose Your Experience Option 1: Live Sessions Join us on March 24 & 25 for a real-time experience, hands-on guidance, and live Q&A. This option includes recordings of each session to support your continued practice. Option 2: Recording Only For immediate, self-paced learning, receive instant access to the recordings from the sessions held in December. Note: All recordings are available for 360 days to allow ample space in your calendar for practice. Prerequisites & Preparation Important: This workshop is designed for those who have participated in Level 1 & 2 (online or in person). This ensures you have the foundational skills required to build on your progress effectively. You will need: Clay: 5 kg of clay with high grog. Tools: Ruler, sponge, knife, needle, metal kidney, serrated kidney, surform, banding wheel (or two bowls), and a hairdryer. Technical Guide: You will receive a PDF Blueprint featuring the outline and dimensions of Woman 3 prior to the workshop. Hosted online via Zoom | Prerequisite: Level 1 & 2 For tool images or any questions regarding the curriculum, please email info@karinasmagulova.com.
