Join me for a three-day ONLINE workshop where we will build upon the foundations of our previous sessions to reach a new level of technical mastery in the coiling process. In this workshop, I will guide you through the intricate journey of transforming a highly advanced form from paper to life. This workshop is designed to refine your technique to its most precise, allowing you to gain absolute control over the outcome rather than following the clay’s natural tendencies. What you will achieve: Technical Mastery: Learn to translate scaled, complex drawings into large-scale or high-detail vessels. Structural Precision: Understand how to manage gravity and weight distribution for more challenging forms. Intentional Making: Successfully plan the size, scale, and silhouette of a desired form before touching the clay. Choose Your Experience Option 1: Live Sessions Join us on March 17, 18 & 19, 2026 for a real-time experience, hands-on guidance, and live Q&A. This includes access to recordings of each session to support your practice. Option 2: Recording Only For self-paced learning, receive access to the recordings of the sessions to study at your own convenience. Note: All recordings for this workshop are available for 360 days. Prerequisites & Preparation Important: This workshop is exclusively designed for those who have completed Level 1 & Level 2 (online or in person). This ensures you have the necessary foundation to progress effectively. You will need: Materials: 5 kg of clay with high grog. Tools: Ruler, sponge, knife, needle, metal kidney, serrated kidney, surform, banding wheel, and a hairdryer. Technical Guide: You will receive a PDF Blueprint featuring the form’s outline and dimensions prior to the session. The Learning Journey Day 1: Introduction to the form, blueprint analysis, and establishing the base. Day 2: Advanced wall building, managing structural integrity, and curve transitions. Day 3: Refining the neck, finishing techniques, and surface trimming for professional results. Hosted online via Zoom | Prerequisite: Level 1 & 2 For tool images or any questions regarding the curriculum, please email info@karinasmagulova.com.
